Guilherme Frederico Escalhão
CEO and Investor Relations Officer for MMX
He graduated from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-RJ) in Business Administration with training programs at INSEAD (France), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT-USA) and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD-Switzerland) and has more than 25 years of experience in the mining sector, having held management positionsin companies in the Caemi Group (MBR CADAM and MSL Minerals). Guilherme Escalhão was President of Pará Pigmentos S.A., member of the Board of Directors of MRS Logística S.A. and Chief Financial Officer of LLX Minas Rio S.A.From January to October 2011 he was CFO of MMX.
Antônio Alberto FróesSchettino
Director for New Business and Project Deployment and Operations
He graduated in Mining Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), with some 30 years of experience in mining, holding management positions in MBR, Odebrecht, CSN and Votorantim. With Odebrecht, Mr. Schettinotook part in projects in Chile, Colombia and the United States. Prior to becoming a Director of MMX, he was Director for Primary Products at VotorantimSteel.
Chequer Hanna BouHabib
Commercial Director
He graduated in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation from the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES). Mr. Chequer Hanna Bou Habib has more than 30 years of experience working for Vale, where he held positions as General Manager of Operational Coordination, General Manager of Sales for the Americas and Director of Sales and Administration for Rio Doce International in Brussels, Belgium. He was President of S.A. Mineração da Trindade (SAMITRI) during the transitional period when it was acquired by Vale. He was also CEO of FertelcoMineração and CEO of Gulf Industrial Investments Company.
Guido Roberto Campos Germani

He joined MMX as General Manager for New Business in 2009. He graduated in Business Administration from UniversidadeCândido Mendes (RJ), with an MBA in Finance at IBMEC-RJ and an MBA in Marketing from PUC-Rio. Germani has 23 years’ experience in the financial and business areas, having worked as a consultant, controller, treasurer and CFO at firms such as Arthur Andersen, Lachmann, Globosat, Fininvest, Mirabela Nickel, Odebrecht, WilsonSons and Coca Cola both in Brazil and Angola.
Luciano Costa Ferreira
Director for Port Operations
A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio with an MBA in Management from the FundaçãoGetúlio Vargas (FGV-Rio), Mr. Ferreira has more than 25 years’ experience in mining and steel, having worked at CAEMI, MBR and Vale, where his last position was as Vice President of the Companhia Siderúrgica de Pecém, an affiliate of Vale.
